An extraordinary building in an extraordinary setting.
In 2015 we established a partnership with the Government of Greenland, Avannaata Municipality to build a visitor centre in Ilulissat that would match the magnificent setting without dominating it. After an architectural competition, the choice fell on Dorte Mandrup’s project, and in the summer of 2019, the ground-breaking ceremony took place for the now completed Kangiata Illorsua – Ilulissat Icefjord Centre.
